THE ART OF LIFE IS TO LIVE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT

Hello! Guys, “All time we kept thinking about the past and dreaming about the future and forget to live in present.”

Now you all must be wondering why I wrote this quote. I wrote it because today I am going to give you some very interesting information which will help you throughout your life.

Let’s start with an interesting story:

Rohan was a young boy who could never live in the moment. When he was in school, he dreamed of being outside playing. When he was outside playing, he dreamed of his summer vacation. Rohan constantly daydreamed, never taking the time to savour the special moments that filled his days.

One day a woman met him.

In the woman’s wrinkled hand was a magical little ball with a hole in the centre and out of the hole dangled a long, golden thread. “Rohan,” she said, “this is the thread of your life.  If you pull the thread just a bit, an hour will pass in seconds.  If you pull harder, whole days will pass in minutes.  And if you pull with all your might, months – even years – will pass by in days.” Rohan was very excited by this new discovery. The old woman gave the magic ball to Rohan. So, he started playing with the ball pulling strings and he quickly found himself playing in his garden. After some time he again takes the magic ball and pulled it harder he found himself in his teenage and then feeling bored in his teenage life he pulled it much harder than before and in no time, he found himself in his old age.

He never learnt to live in present and later regretted that he didn’t do anything in his whole life.

Moral: - stopped sacrificing the present for the future and began to live in the moment.

We should learn to live in present, as past is gone and no one knows about the future and our future depends on our present.

If we want to be successful in life then focus on your present.

It is observed that most people do not achieve their goals as the past thoughts keep on disturbing them and so they cannot focus on their work.

How can we solve this problem?

Let’s see the 4 tips if you want to forget past things and prevent them to distract you during work.

 1. Distract yourself The best way to distract yourself is to find a task that keeps you busy.

 2. Creating a healthy thought patternYou will replace your bad memories with the most important thoughts or different information.

3. Open up your past - Open up your past to someone who is trustworthy at least once. Which will free up your mind from past thoughts and it will not come in your mind. But if you keep those thoughts in mind then it will distract you when you are doing some important work.

4. Being mindful The practice of paying more attention to the present moment is called being mindful.

If you learn to do this then no one can stop you from achieving your goals.

                              Conclusion: -

If you follow these steps then you will definitely achieve your goal. If you will think to do the work in future then you will land up in a situation like that boy in the story.

Friends, remember one thing, “It is difficult to live in and enjoy the moment when you are thinking about the past or worrying about the future. You cannot change your past, but you can ruin the present by worrying about your future. Learn from the past, plan for the future. The more you live in and enjoy the present moment, the happier you will be."
